Don't Mould Your Trays Yet

STOP — READ THIS FIRST

Don't mould your trays yet.

This is the most common mistake we see — and it decides whether you get the result you paid for.

TAKES ABOUT 2 MINUTES

A tray that doesn't seal puts gel on your gums instead of your teeth. Patchy result, sore mouth, wasted syringe. Tell us where to send your aftercare guide and we'll take you straight to the video.

We'll email your aftercare guide and wear schedule to the same address. 44% gel isn't one-size-fits-all — timing depends on where you're starting from. Unsubscribe any time.

Why the tray matters more than the gel

Whitening gel only works where it's touching the tooth. That's the whole mechanism.

A tray that seats properly holds the gel against every surface for the full wear time. A tray that doesn't leaves gaps — so some patches lighten, some don't, and the gel that escapes ends up on your gums. That's where the soreness comes from.

Most people blame the gel. It's almost never the gel.

Same kit, same gel, two completely different outcomes. The only variable is the ninety seconds you're about to spend.

What the video covers

  1. Water temperature. Too hot warps the tray, too cool won't soften it.
  2. How long to leave it in. Counted out, so you're not guessing.
  3. Seating it properly. Where to press, and how hard.
  4. How to check it's taken. And how to redo it if it hasn't.
  5. How much gel to use. Less than you think.

Before you start — take your before photo

Now, before the first treatment. In two weeks you won't remember what today looked like. Nobody ever does.

  • Natural light, near a window — no bathroom downlights
  • No filter, and check your camera isn't smoothing by default
  • Lips back, teeth slightly apart, phone about 30cm out
  • Note where you're standing so you can stand there again

You keep the photos. We'll just remind you when it's time to take the matching ones.
